All dangers to navigation must be promulgated by Contracting Governments.

Guidance Notes

1. This Regulation is similar to Regulation 2(b) of SOLAS V(74) and obliges Contracting Governments to promulgate information relating to any dangers received from whatever reliable source.

2. It should be noted that while SOLAS V (74) specified which types of danger must be promulgated, the new Regulation does not.
