Nautical charts and nautical publications |
Regulation |
Nautical charts and nautical publications, such as sailing directions, lists of lights, notices to mariners, tide tables and all other nautical publications necessary for the intended voyage, shall be adequate and up to date. |
Summary |
All ships are required to carry appropriate nautical charts and publications.

Regulation 27 replaces Regulation 20 of SOLAS V/74. In the new Regulations “Nautical Charts and Publications” are defined in Regulation 2.2. Carriage requirements for Charts and Publications are given in Regulation 19, para. 2.1.4
